How much does a Laravel application cost? What drives the quote
There is no single price “for a CRM”. There is a scope: roles, integrations, data, mobile, deadlines. Below is what a GESOFT quote is made of — no fake “from one zloty”.
“How much is an app?” without a scope is like “how much is a car?”. At GESOFT we publish ranges — Starter from PLN 2,500 for a brochure site, Business from PLN 6,000 for a richer site or small panel — and a precise figure after analysis. This article explains what pushes the price up and what you can deliberately leave for phase two.
What actually affects the quote
- Number of roles and screens — a customer panel, a staff panel and an admin panel are three products in one.
- Integrations — Przelewy24, Stripe, courier, ERP, invoicing, SMS, Google Calendar. Each API means analysis, a sandbox, gateway errors and refunds.
- Data and migration — starting from zero versus importing history from Excel or another system.
- Legal requirements — GDPR, industry archives, audit trail, two-factor login.
- An Android app — a separate product with an API backend, not “the same panel in a smaller window”.
- Deadline — a realistic schedule is cheaper than “yesterday” with scope changing in parallel.
Ballpark orders of magnitude
- Company site with CMS and a form: from a few thousand PLN.
- A panel (bookings, simple orders, a customer base): usually a low-to-mid five-figure budget, depending on integrations.
- CRM / B2B / e-commerce with stock and payments: a staged project quoted after analysis — there is no honest catalogue price.
- Android app + Laravel API: always a separate line, even when it is built together with the web panel.
How to write a brief so the quote is accurate
The more concrete the description, the smaller the “unknowns” buffer. It helps to include:
- Who uses the system (roles) and what they must do in the first month — not a five-year wish list.
- An example of the current process: even photos of paper, emails, a slice of Excel.
- Integrations that are must-have at launch versus those that can wait.
- Whether there is a deadline (season, trade fair, a legal change).
- Whether a mobile app is needed on day zero, or a mobile-friendly web version is enough.
We often recommend an MVP: first the core that removes the biggest pain (e.g. taking an order and statuses), then reports, then automations. That is cheaper and less risky than “everything at once”.
WordPress, SaaS or Laravel?
If a ready-made SaaS at a modest monthly fee solves the problem and you can live with its limits — that can be wiser. If you pay for three tools plus manual work, custom Laravel often pays back within a year. We compare CMS vs custom in WordPress vs Laravel.
